OU 2024 Spring Game Start Time Pushed Back Due To Weather

The start time for the University of Oklahoma football team's spring game on Saturday has been moved, OU Athletics announced.

OU Athletics said due to predicted rain and lightning in central Oklahoma Saturday morning, the Sooners' spring football game that day will be pushed back to 2:30 p.m.

"OU officials are continuing to monitor Saturday's weather forecasts," the university said. "Any potential additional changes to the day's schedule will be communicated with as much notice as possible."

The university said gates at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium are scheduled to open at 1 p.m.

The athletics department also said the "Party at the Palace" pre-spring-game fan festival on the north side of the stadium has been canceled.
