Man Pleads Guilty To Robbing Gas Station, Assaulting Store Owner

A man pled guilty in federal court to robbing a Sand Springs gas station and beating the owner.

Court documents said that in July, Camaran Breazeale went to A-and-S Fuel, demanded money from the owner and then punched him several times until he knocked him down.

They said Breazeale then grabbed a shotgun from under the counter and beat the owner with it over and over while threatening to shoot him.

Investigators said Breazeale then walked up to an officer, with blood on his hand, handed over the money to the officer and said "he gave me that."

Since Breazeale is a Cherokee Nation citizen and the crime occurred within the Muscogee Nation Reservation, the case is moved to federal court.

He will be sentenced in May.
