Tulsans took part in the Tulsa Walk to End Alzheimer's on Saturday.

The annual event raised nearly $500,000 to support the Alzheimer's Association's care, research and support programs.

More than 6 million Americans live with Alzheimer's disease and more than 11 million family members and friends care for Alzheimer's patients.

There are 67,000 people living with the disease in Oklahoma.
