A Tulsa man is in jail after police say he held a woman against her will, beat her up and threw her dog against a wall.

Tulsa Police say Randy Shell would not let the woman leave his apartment and repeatedly beat and choked her. Investigators say Shell also shook her dog and threw it against the wall.
