A Tulsa refinery is shutting down temporarily as the Keystone Dam continues its large water release.

The Corps said they will release 250,000 cubic feet of water per second until Sunday then gradually decrease that number as water levels recede. Right now, they don't anticipate that number to get higher.

Still more water is coming into Keystone lake than going out -- with an inflow of  281,000 CFS.

Thursday afternoon Holly Refinery said they are shutting down due to the high level of water in the Arkansas.

Due to high water in the Tulsa area, the HollyFrontier Tulsa Refinery is temporarily shutting down operations as a precautionary measure for the safety of our employees, contractors, community and operations. We encourage everyone in the community to heed the warnings from emergency management officials, be alert and stay safe.
