Multiple Northeastern Oklahoma Schools Closed After Storms

There are a few school closings already happening today because of flooding and storm damage.

Skiatook, Sperry and Bixby schools are closed.

Jenks Public Schools announced it will close Thursday and Friday, making Wednesday the last day of the school year.

Muskogee Public Schools announced students may be picked up immediately due to flooding concerns. School buses will run normal routes.

"We ask for your patience during this process and please stay weather aware. Information regarding possible school closure tomorrow will be communicated as soon as a decision is made," said Steve Braun, Muskogee Public Schools.

Tuesday was supposed to be Bixby's last day of the year, but the school is closed.

Bixby students won't make up the day, so kids are now out for the summer.
