TPD Locates Stolen Vehicle After Carjacking In Broken Arrow

UPDATE (8:37 p.m. Jan. 23, 2021): The Tulsa Police Department said it has located and recovered a stolen vehicle in connection with a Friday carjacking in Broken Arrow.

TPD also said it has detained a person of interest as its investigation continues.

Broken Arrow police need your help tracking down a man they say stole a woman's car.

Police say they responded to a home near 145th East Avenue and Kenosha on Friday for a carjacking in process. The victim told police she was getting ready to leave for work when the suspect approached her with a gun. They also told police the suspect put the gun to her head, hit her, and then drove off in her car.

Police say the suspect was wearing a black jacket, black pants, and white shoes and was carrying a camo backpack. The suspect was last seen in a blue 2008 Honda CRV with Oklahoma license plate number HRN-061.
