The Tulsa Route 66 Commission announces completion of the first Vision Tulsa Route 66 Neon Sign Grant project. Awarded to Billy Ray’s BBQ at 3524 Southwest Blvd., the grant was to restore a decades-old neon sign in Billy Ray’s original handwriting. The program uses Vision Tulsa funds allocated to the revitalization and beautification of Route 66. For more information about the grants and how to apply, see www.cityoftulsa.org/NeonGrant
